Just a suggestion it might be a misspelling of the Welsh phrase which might mean 'Very good' or something. In case your wondering, yes i am Welsh and no I don't speak the Language as there's very little need to in Cardiff. But then again why is Swedish Band using a name like that?

I actually found out it is Welsh, only I think it means 'cheers'.

If memory serves, some English comedian (I'm thinking possibly Spike Milligan) portrayed it satirically as the Welsh martial art. In comparison, The Goodies enlighted the world to Ecky Thump, the Yorkshire martial art where students wear oversized flat caps and beat people with black puddings.
