Hi there. This is more a test than anything else. If people register and stay, this board'll be around, if there is no interest it'll be deleted or abandoned.
What will the board be about? Well, hopefully members will be interested in the aspects of pop culture covered on the main site, but anything goes as long as it doesn't violate the guidelines. So knock yourselves out and try to get stuff in the right category.
Well, we'll see what happens. I decided to make a board about an hour ago, so we'll wing it, I guess. Thanks for reading the site and posting, I'll see you around.

Well I'm here, so there's one thing.
I too stumbled across this place by following a link at a friends site (though my first visits were the direct links to Malko and Einsteinbrains) and I couldn't pull myself away, I must have spent half of that night in the Games section. Sad as it may seem, this is a truth that will never leave me. Maybe.

Hey, I'm new, and I'm happy to be at the very birth of a new forum, right here in one of the pages I like the most. It's a mix of I-Mockery and TheRedEye. Combines the intelligent wording of the first and the ability of mocking things of the second.
Is swearing allowed? I mean, the whole site contains cusswords like the plague, and... well, you get my point.

Why do everyone insist I talk like a sailor? I found a link to the site the other day, and it came with a warning that the language here was 'extremely harsh'. Must be a cultural thing. I've turned the swear filter off, so just go ahead. Glad you like the site. EDIT: Oh, and you'd better register if you want to reply, I'm restricting the posting priveleges to members only. Not trying to be a bitch, there's just been so much hassle with the board. That's what you get when you're too cheap to pay for a forum.

I've turned the swear filter off, so just go ahead. Glad you like the site. Oh, cool. Let's see... Fuck Barney the Dinasaur and the shitty brats around him who deserve nothing more that being stomped by a steamroller. *Preview* Yeah!!! Oh, and you'd better register if you want to reply. It was me, I had already registered, but forgot to log in...

Per Arne,
Thanks for the incredible site! I owe you one -- several, actually -- but mostly for introducing me to Sweet Home!
I'd write a longer message, but it's getting late and I've spent the better part of the last half hour trying to figure out how to upload an avatar to my shitty ISP-driven web space.
Speaking of which, it's refreshing to see a forum where people won't get scolded for swearing. I promise not to be a shitmonkey, though.
Anyway, more posts later -- I hope the forums keep working.

Just a question:
What is a shitmonkey???

You know, I honestly don't know, I kinda made it up on the fly. But I suppose I could subconciously have imagined a monkey sitting in a tree throwing his shit at bypassers, which would be a decent metaphor for a forum troll.

a board where i, an internet recluse, am actually interested in posting and not just lurking? THE END IS NEAR! :-P i've been coming here since i found the article about the Krion Conquest in a web search, and like several others, i owe it to this site for discovering Sweet Home, hehe.
also, i'd like to personally thank Pjalne for corrupting my girlfriend, lol---i showed her this site, and after reading the article about Superman, she's added "FISH MARKET" to the silly quotes she'll yell now and then :-P

PSST, PER - THAT DUDE'S A CHICK.
Anyways, I'm the guy that Professor Fandango mentions up there. I found the site while searching for "MONKEY KONG", seeking evidence that that was the original title of Donkey Kong. After that, I was hooked. And I sent you that e-mail about Spartacus and the Sun Beneath the Sea.
Anyways, you'll have to let us examine your DNA some time, to know what differentiates you from our Norwegian. He's like, 300% less cool than you.

Oi! Well I should mention the Praf leading me to this site as well. Because...well if he hadn't posted the link to it...I probably wouldn't have ended up here. But after perusing its a rather "nifty-keen" (does anyone even say that anymore?) place.

Well, glad the two of you like the site, welcome to the boards.

It was the e-mail where I was telling you that at least in the early 80s, on Nickelodeon at 6 AM, that cartoon had been translated to English... so somewhere in the world, it still exists, just waiting for the day it's ported to ten dollar DVD in the Wal*Mart discount bin.
