I found this list on another forum. This man clearly knows what he's talking about.

Well I can't say I've seen/heard of most of those, but you'd better believe BttF is in there!

The typing in all caps sealed the deal for me.

What? Blair Witch Project? Where's Clerks? Mystery Science Theater 3000? Airplane?

Those were mostly horrible choices, dude. Maybe not for semi-decent Hollywood films, but for the 25 best movies of all time? NO. WAY. Clerks, MST3K, and Airplane wouldn't make the cut either, though.

MST3k isn't even a real movie. Right?
Say! Why not make this topic a little bit more than bitching about some list of a guy, and LETS MAKE OUR OWN LITTLE LISTS of 25 BEST MOVIES EVER?

Well.. yeah, as a foreigner, it was my first taste of it. I mean, the Movie isn't really more of a movie than any other episode. Except that it looks a little bit more nice, but that's about it.

To be honest, I don't like many of his choices. Training Day was the only one I agreed with.
Here are mine, if anyone cares, in no order:
1. Happiness of the Katakuris 2. The Godfather, Pt.II 3. The Times of Harvey Milk 4. Ghost Dog 5. Kill Bill (as a whole) 6. Pulp Fiction 7. Once Upon a Time in America 8. Yojimbo 9. Zatoichi- The Blind Swordsman (not the stupid Beat Takeshi remake) 10. Bells Are Ringing 11. Fahrenheit 9/11 (yes) 12. The 400 Blows 13. Breathless 14. Crimes and Misdemeanors 15. Lost in Translation 16. Band of Outsiders 17. Audition 18. Good Morning 19. Vertigo (possible #1) 20. North by Northwest 21. Tokyo Story 22. A Flight of Rainbirds (another possible #1) 23. Blackmail is My Life 24. Taxi Driver 25. The Pianist
Big mentions to The Kid and City Lights, two of my favorite Charlie Chaplin movies.

On Armageddon:
Obviously the caps lock has something to do with spilling bongwater on his keyboard.

I liked this one better:
On The Patriot:
Well, if both Gladiator and Braveheart jumped into a time machine, traveled forward in time and THEN went and saw The Patriot, it would make sense. However, Fantomet's comment in this thread made a lot of sense here. In any case, whatever he's been smoking...
I have GOT to get me some of that shit. ;D
Other funnybone ticklers (because they're half-written sentences or because I'm taking them horribly out of context):
On American Graffiti: "LUCAS'S GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT.IT ALSO LAUNCHED RICHARD DREYFUS AND HARRISON FORD " ..like Ash was "launched" in the castle fighting scene in Army of Darkness?
On John Q.: "...ABOUT WHAT IT IS LIKE TO LOVE YOUR CHILD" I don't like the sound of that. >_<
On Fast Times at Ridgemont High: "COMEDIC AND DRAMATIC ALL IN THE SAME FILM.YET SO DAMN GOOD" Well, I LIKE comedy and drama.
On Scream: "SINGLE HANEDLY BROUGHT BACK THE TEEN FILM AND THE HORROR GENRE AT THE SAME TIME. ALTHOUGH IT ALSO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT." This..... doesn't make any sense whatsoever. To use an old Norwegian proverb, translated badly by me: "Alright, nope."
On the Die Hard trilogy: "....BESIDE BRUCE WILLIS IS THE MAN" You mean that guy standing next to Bruce Willis? Yeah, he's the man.

You realize we should write crap lists ourselves for kicks then post the links here for laughs, right?
"Thank God for Pauly Shore! At last the premier thespian of the age gets a role that stretches his abilities. GO BUY BIODOME RIGHT NOW! The stoner Baldwin brother was brilliant, as well, delivering a tour de force performance as that one doofus."
On Gladiator:
"Fartacus is more like it!"

Why not.
YEAH, "COOL AS ICE" IS THE BEST MOVIE EVAR. VANILLA ICE IS SO COOL, HE MELTS IN THE SUNLIGHT.
*cue sound of crickets chirping*
Well, since I can't make any good jokes to save my life, I would like to nominate Mr. T in his most prominant feature Be somebody or be somebody's fool , because -- you know -- there's something absolutely brilliant about a guy who can say things like "With her mustard socks and her ketchup sash, she's a real hot dog."
